Why Evening Sessions

Tacitskills is a company that caters to busy professionals by offering live interactive courses that take place in the evenings between 19:00 and 22:00. This allows professionals to continue working on important projects during the day and complete the course in the evenings. To make the most of their time, the courses are split into 3 hour sessions per evening, rather than requiring professionals to take time off work to attend full-day training sessions. About This Course

This course is accredited and approved by the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP). Upon completion, professionals will earn 3 ECSA CPD points and 18 SACPCMP CPD hours, and PMP certificate holders will be eligible for 21 PDUs from the Project Management Institute (PMI).

This course aims to teach intermediate to advanced best practices in project management as outlined in the PMBOK® Guide (7th edition) and the Construction Extension to the PMBOK® Guide (2016 edition). It focuses on topics related to managing construction and engineering projects, including the various stages of the project life cycle and the challenges professionals may encounter when working on complex construction sites. 

This course is based on:

  • The PMBOK® Guide – 7th Edition (2021)

  • Process Groups: A Practical Guide (2022).

  • The Construction Extension to the PMBOK® Guide - 2016 Edition.
