The following are the terms and conditions established by Tacit Skills. We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions, and we will notify all current clients/members of Tacit Skills of any changes that have been made.
You agree to not engage in any harassing, threatening, or discriminatory behaviour towards other users or the site's staff.
You agree to not steal or misuse any personal or confidential information belonging to other users or the site.
You agree to use appropriate language and not use vulgar or offensive usernames or profile names.
You agree to not download or share any course materials or account information in order to access courses without proper authorization.
You acknowledge that the site and its content are protected by copyright and trademark laws and agree not to violate these laws.
You acknowledge that the site reserves the right to terminate your account and access to the site and its services at any time, for any reason, and without notice.
You acknowledge that the site is not responsible for any errors or omissions in the content or for any actions taken based on the information provided on the site.
You agree to indemnify and hold the site and its owners, employees, and affiliates harmless from any claims or damages arising from your use of the site or its services.
You acknowledge that these terms and conditions may be updated by the site at any time and it is your responsibility to review and understand any changes.
By using the site, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, you are not authorized to use the site.
Loyalty points can be earned by purchasing or completing courses or performing certain tasks such as joining the site or downloading the mobile app. Professionals who earn 2500 points will be eligible for a one-time use coupon for a 25% discount on any course offered by Tacit Skills. Professionals who earn 5000 points will be eligible for a one-time use coupon for a 40% discount on any course offered by Tacit Skills. Please note that these coupons cannot be combined to receive a 65% discount and the coupon must be used before a new one can be issued. The loyalty point program is a recent addition and will only take effect starting on December 27, 2022. This means that loyalty points will not be retroactively applied to current members. All members have been assigned 100 loyalty points for being a member of the site
To attend a course, delegates must pay the full course fee upfront. It is important to note that until the full balance is paid, delegates will not be able to earn continuing professional development (CPD) points, receive a certificate, or access recordings of the course.
We do not store sensitive payment information such as credit card numbers or bank account details. All payments are processed through third-party vendors such as PayFast, Yoco, and PayPal, which use secure servers and encryption to protect your financial information.
By using our services and making a payment, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the third-party payment processors. We are not responsible for any errors or issues that may arise during the payment process, and any disputes should be directed to the relevant payment processor.
We reserve the right to cancel any orders that we believe to be fraudulent or unauthorized.
By making a payment, you confirm that you are the authorized user of the payment method and that there are sufficient funds available to complete the transaction.

If you cancel your registration [ with a written notice such as email] for the course within 24 hours of paying for it, you will get a full refund. If you request a refund at least 30 days before the start of the course, you will get 50% of your payment back. No refunds will be given if you request one within 14 days before the start of the course. If you purchase the course within 14 days before the start of the course and want to cancel, you will not be able to get a full refund. A 25% deposit will be kept. Please note that you will not be able to get CPD points, a certificate, or access to recordings until you have paid the full balance of the course. If a delegate is unable to attend a course, they can substitute their place with someone else. There will be no refunds given for self-paced courses.
Cancelations by Tacit Skills
Tacit Skills reserves the right to reschedule a course if the minimum number of attendees is not met. If the minimum number of attendees is still not met after rescheduling, Tacit Skills will refund the full amount paid to the attendees. In addition, Tacit Skills reserves the right to switch trainers in the event of an emergency
Instalment Options offered
The instalment payment option is only available for the PMP or CAPM certification course and is usually available for a period of three months. However, the availability of the instalment option may be reduced as the start date of the course approaches. If you choose the instalment option, you will need to pay the first instalment of 50% at the time of purchase, and the remaining 25% will be due in two equal instalments over the following two months. It is important to note that the entire amount of the instalment payment must be paid in full before the start of the course. If you purchase the course on the instalment payment option within two months of the start date, only two instalments will be available. The instalment payment option is not available for professionals within one month of the start of the course.
Recordings of the live sessions will be made available for attending delegates who miss a session due to load shedding. Please note that the course live sessions must be attended in order to qualify for your certificate. Recordings are only for review purposes.
