It covers the five process groups (initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing) and the nine knowledge areas (integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and procurement) of project management. It also covers different project life cycles, such as waterfall, adaptive, hybrid, and construction project phases, as well as the various roles that can be involved in a project, such as the project manager, project sponsor, project team, and project management office (PMO).
