About Self Paced Course
Microsoft Project is an essential tool for professionals in the construction and engineering industry. It allows project managers to effectively plan, track, and report on projects, helping to ensure their success. This course is designed to teach participants how to use Microsoft Project to its full potential, covering both basic and advanced features and functions. It is suitable for users of all levels of experience, whether you are using the 2010, 2013, 2016, or 2019 edition of MS Project or the 365 version. Throughout the course, you will be given hands-on experience working with a construction-based case study to learn how to manage resources, cost, and time and reduce the risk of failure on your projects. The course is accredited and approved by the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), and professionals will earn 2 ECSA CPD Points. PMI Certificate holders will be eligible for 14 PDUs from the Project Management Institute (PMI). Attending professionals who don't have Microsoft Project will be provided with a free trial version of Microsoft Project 2016 (optional). Upon completion of this course, you will be able to navigate the Project environment, create and define a new project plan, organize tasks, manage resources, finalize a project plan, monitor progress, adjust the project plan to control constraints, create reports to share a project's status, and customize project settings and share customization with other projects
